Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) 2024

The Village of Benzonia's first CIP was adopted July 1, 2024. It will be reviewed and updated annually to include the current year + plan 5 years ahead.
Preparation of the CIP is done under the authority of the Michigan Planning Enabling Act (PA 33 of 2008). The goal of the CIP should be to implement the master plan and to assist in the community’s financial planning. A (CIP) is a list of capital projects (public buildings, infrastructure or large equipment), along with the anticipated cost of those projects, scheduled over six or more years. The type of funding (general fund, grant, revolving, etc.) is also identified. |
This plan would not have been possible without the support and efforts of the citizens of the Village of Benzonia, Village staff, and Village Board members. Members of the Village Planning Commission participated directly in collaborating on this document. It truly takes a Village!
